Studio Policies

1. Your session fee covers your pre-shoot consultation, the time & talent of your photographer and assistants during your shoot and the time spent preparing for and conducting your order session and framing consultation. Your session fee does not include any products or digital files. Your entire session fee is due upon booking. Session fees are non-refundable, however you can reschedule up to two times and within 3 months of your original session date. We ask that a minimum of 24 hours of advanced notice be given when rescheduling. If rescheduling occurs less than 24 hours before your session, a $50 rescheduling fee will be charged. Please understand that we are very busy and book sessions many months in advance. It is best to carefully schedule your session at a time that will work for you and your family, as time in our studio has been set aside just for you and is hard to fill at the last minute. In the event of illness, please call to reschedule as soon as possible. We understand that illness can happen at the last minute!

2. Scheduling of your pre-shoot consultation and ordering session will be done upon booking your photo shoot. Scheduling these visits in advance will allow us to give you the time & attention you deserve. Pre-shoot consultations are highly important as this short visit is devoted to learning about your family, your wants and desires during your session as well as your intentions on how you plan to display your beautiful artwork. This consultation is also helpful to you in learning about our products, pricing and styling suggestions.

3. Ordering sessions are done in person with a CK design specialist at the studio. The first ordering session is complimentary. Additional ordering sessions, if needed, are $150. Please schedule your ordering session so that all essential decision-makers are present.

4. No photographic, video or recording devices of any kind are permitted during a pre-shoot consultation, shoot or at the ordering session.

5. Orders must be paid for in full when placed and cannot be modified due to the custom nature of our products. We accept personal checks as well as most major credit cards. Returned checks will incur a $50 fee.

6. Prices are subject to change at any time.

7. Please allow 4-8 weeks for your order, minus framing, to be completed, depending on the time of the year. Some specialty items may take longer. Your portraits are an investment and an heirloom that should not be rushed. You will be notified by phone or e-mail when your order is ready for pickup and/or framing. If you are unable to pick up your order, we can ship your order to you if you provide your Fed Ex account number. We take no responsibility for loss or damage that has occurred in shipment. Finished work must be picked up or shipped within 30 days of completion. Our studio is not equipped for long-term storage.

8. Please allow 4-8 weeks for any custom framing to be completed, depending on the frames selected. Custom frame orders, once placed, cannot be canceled or modified due to the custom nature of the work involved. All custom frame orders require full payment upon ordering.

9. Your session fee will include complimentary image backup on our server for 1 year from the date of your session. Any images that are unwanted and/or discarded at an ordering session will be removed from Classic Kids storage immediately. If you desire to own files or artwork from your files, please make this purchase within 1 year of your session date. Classic Kids cannot be held responsible for image loss.

10. Purchased digital files will be processed, retouched & high resolution (printable up to a maximum of 11x14). They are licensed for unlimited, non-commercial use.

Legal Schmegal

Copyright: Under federal and state copyright law, Classic Kids is the sole owner of the copyright to the images it produces. Without express written consent from CK, it is illegal to reproduce Classic Kids images by any method including scanning, screenshotting and photography.

Classic Kids exists solely to create high quality, custom photographic products for its customers. Classic Kids maintains its artistic integrity and reputation by rigorously enforcing copyright and intellectual property laws.

Use of Images by Classic Kids: Classic Kids has the unlimited right to use the images taken in each photo session for its own promotional and commercial purposes, including, but not limited to, use in studio samples, printed collateral, advertising, website and online social media.
